What is the 3x3 Street League?

The 3x3 Street League will be held in 35 cities this year. These 35 cities are divided into 6 regions: Amsterdam Territory, The North, The East, The South, Utrecht District, West Coast. Teams can be formed with min 3 and max 6 people and can participate in 1 or more stops (with the same players from that group of 3-6 players. The categories that teams can fall under are: Under 13 mix, 13-15 Boys, 13-15 Girls 16 -18 Boys, 16-18 Girls, 18+ Men, 18+ Women. The 3x3 Street League is divided into three parts.

The first part are the qualifying stops. 4 stops will be organized at each Street League location. Every Friday evening (cat. 16-18 boys and girls and 18+ men and women) and Saturday during the day (cat. under 13 mix and 13-15 boys and girls) these stops will be organized for four weeks. Stop 1 is on May 17 and 18, Stop 2 is on May 24 and 25, Stop 3 is on May 31 and June 1, Stop 4 is on. June 7 and 8. With a few exceptions, these stops will be played every week on the same court in a city. During these stops, teams can earn points from 3 teams onwards distribution is then as follows:

Even if only 3 teams participate, the maximum points count applies to the teams that come 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The second part is the Regional Finals. The Regional Finals are on June 14 and 15. The Regional Finals will be organized in one of the cities of each region, for example Zwolle can organize the Regional Final for the region The East. Depending on the number of local teams, a maximum of 8 teams per category will participate in a Regional Final. If many teams have played the regular stops at a location, more teams will also participate in the Regional Final in that region of the 18+ categories of the Regional Finals qualify for the 3x3 PRO League Qualifer.

During the 3x3 PRO League stop in Utrecht, the 3x3 PRO League Qualifer will also be played as a national final for the 3x3 Street League in the 18+ category for both men and women. The winners of this will be allowed to participate in the 3x3 PRO League Final during the Vunzige Deuntjes Festival. For all other categories, the Regional Finals of the 3x3 Street League are the final destination.

    Yes, you can!
